Cribs for Kids Safe Sleep
SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Baraboo’s Family Birth Suites has achieved the Cribs for Kids Safe Sleep Certification, an accolade that underscores its commitment to promoting infant safety in the community. As part of this initiative, the Family Birth Suites staff organized a successful diaper drive to benefit local families while educating the community on the importance of safe sleep practices for infants.
The diaper drive resulted in the donation of over 1,000 diapers to the AIM Women’s Resource Center. This non-profit pregnancy center, dedicated to serving women and families in Baraboo and surrounding communities, received the diapers along with crucial information on the ABC’s of safe sleep: Alone, on their Back, and in a Crib. These guidelines are essential for reducing the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and ensuring the safety and well-being of newborns.
