Amber Alert Issued for Pregnant Beaver Dam Teen

BEAVER DAM, WI- (WISS) – An Amber Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old pregnant girl, Sophia Martha Franklin, from Beaver Dam. 

Sophia, who is three months pregnant, was last seen at her home in Beaver Dam at 9:00 p.m. Sunday night (2/2/25). Police believe she is with  40-year-old Gary F. Day, the father of her unborn child. A no-contact order has been issued for Day and Sophia.

Day was last seen at 7:48 Monday (2/3/25) morning at Sophia’s home.

Police believe they are traveling in a 2014 black Buick LaCrosse with Arkansas license plates BBR 20L.

Sophia is described as 5’9”, 186 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Day is 5’7”, 165 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes.
