The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recalled 864 12-packs of Coca-Cola sold in two states earlier this month, and on Monday the agency classified it as a Class II recall..
The 12-packs at issue, which affects more than 10,000 cans of Coca-Cola, were recalled because they may have been contaminated with a foreign object: plastic. The FDA did not mention any injuries or illnesses in connection with the recall.
These cans were manufactured in Milwaukee, by Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, and they were distributed in Wisconsin and Illinois.
The FDA did not specify what customers should do if they purchased the recalled sodas.
