
Free summer food program from Ithaca
You do not have to attend school or even live in the District to receive Ithaca’s free breakfast and lunch
ITHACA, Wis (WRCO / WRCE) – Free lunch and breakfast is happening at Ithaca Schools. Attendees are asked to sign up by Thursday, June 12.
Free lunch and breakfast will be offered to any child 18 and under for the entire summer. This includes seniors who are 18 years old. You do not have to attend school or even live in the district to receive Ithaca’s free breakfast and lunch.
Anyone that can make it to Ithaca to pick up the meals can sign their student up; there is no paperwork to fill out for income eligibility.
The participation form can be found here. Participants can reserve pick-up times every Wednesday.
Food will be distributed at the Ithaca Elementary Door on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., beginning June 25 and ending August 20.
If there is an emergency and you are unable to make it to your scheduled pickup time, please call the Ithaca School Office at 608-585-2311 on Monday of the week you are unable to complete the pickup. Ithaca will have the office staffed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for phone calls.
The district does not get reimbursed for food that is not picked up. If you fail to pick up your food at your scheduled time twice during the Summer Food Program, they will stop providing food for your children.
