Thursday, July 24
Walk with GRACE teams can pick up team shirts Thursday, July 24, from 11:00a to 6:00p at the GRACE office located above Royal Bank in downtown Richland Center.
The Lone Rock Farmers Market is held each Thursday from 3:30p to 6:30p at The Lone Rock Farmers Market at Center Park along Highway 130 and East Liberty.
Walk with GRACE teams who have calendar raffle tickets they are not selling are asked to turn them ASAP. There are a number of teams in need of tickets and there are not left at the GRACE Office. If you have tickets you are not using, please call the GRACE Office at 608-604-8255. Arrangements can be made to pick them up from you and deliver them to teams in need.
Walk with Grace Luminary Bags are available at various locations: Royal Bank, Richland County Bank, Community First Bank, All American Do It Center, and WCCU on Highway 14 East, all in Richland Center; The People’s Community Bank in both Richland Center and Spring Green; and Walsh’s Ace Hardware in Richland Center and Muscoda. Luminaries are also available at the Grace Office Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00a to 3:00p. Luminary Bags with the $5 donation per name can be turned in to a team captain; the GRACE Office Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00a to 3:00p; or to Marge Bisco at the Richland County Bank by August 5.

Friday, July 25
Richland Area Senior Citizens will hold a brat stand Friday, July 25, from 10:30a to 2:00p at the corner of Bindl Tire and Auto or until sold out.
Senior Farmer’s Market vouchers are still available. The Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program offers eligible low-income seniors the opportunity to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from certified farmers. The Plain Fire & EMS 3-Day Celebration will be held Friday through Sunday, July 25-27, at Plain Community Park. Friday will feature a youth softball tournament at 2:00 and live music with High Mileage from 7:00a to 11:00a. Saturday features a youth baseball tournament at 8:00, the Travis Studnicka Memorial Volleyball tournament at 10:30a, a bean bag tournament at 1:00p, youth softball tournament at 3:30p live music with Shawn Schell from 4:00p to 7:00p, and Cherry Pie from 8:00p to 11:00p. Sunday will feature the youth baseball tournament beginning at 9:00a, the parade will step off at 11:00a, a chicken barbecue at noon at Plain Community Park with a drive thru option on Bridge Road, live music featuring Donnie Reyzek, and a children’s pedal pull at 1:00p and fire truck rides from 3:00p to 4:00p.
A Walk with GRACE Euchre Tournament Fundraiser will be held Friday, July 25, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Richland Center. Sign in begins at 5:00p and play starts at 6:00p. The entry fee of $5 and nickel bumps will be donated to GRACE. There will also be food and door prizes for players. For more information call 608-604-5597.
A Celebration for Jesus through song, The Word, and prayer, will be held Friday, July 25, at 7:00p at Hillsboro Fireman’s Park. All are welcome.
Performances of Community Players Little Shop of Horrors are scheduled for Friday through Sunday, July 25, 26, 27 and August 1, 2 and 3, at the Richland Center High School Auditorium. Friday and Saturday shows will be at 7:00p with Sunday shows at 2:00a. Tickets will be available at the door and are $15 for Adults, $10 for children under 18 and $50 for a Family Package of two adults and any number of children. Tickets can also be ordered online at Eventbrite.com and search for Little Shop of Horrors Richland Center Wisconsin. The show is not recommended for smaller children.
4PeteSake Day in the Park will be held Sunday, August 17, in Spring Green. Those wishing to the 2025 t-shirt are reminded the deadline to order is this Friday (July 25) at midnight. It is also the deadline for the run/walk/bike and pickleball registrations and the pickleball tournament if you want a t-shirt. This is a change of date from the registration form. You may still send in a registration for the run/walk/bike after July 25 or register at the park on August 17, but t-shirts will not be available. August 10 is the deadline for the pickleball tournament, but there will be no t-shirts after July 25.
Sunday, July 27
A Countywide 4-H Softball Tournament will be held Sunday, July 27, at 3:00p at North Park in Richland Center. It will be followed by a 4-H potluck and family softball game at 5:00p.
Naturally Animated Architecture: Using the Movements of the Sun, Wind, and Rain to Bring Indoor Spaces and Sustainable Practices to Life will be held at the Hillside Theater at Taliesin Sunday, July 27, from 4:00p to 5:30p. Explore how the natural movements of the sun, wind, and rain can be used to improve the well-being of people in buildings and raise awareness of sustainable living practices. Tickets are available online at taliesinpreservation.org/events.
True North Vacation Bible School will be held nightly at Back Roads Church Boscobel, Sunday through Thursday, July 27 -31. A free supper will be held at the Basecamp Eatery from 4:30p to 5:00p with Bible School from 5:15p to 8:15p. All children ages 4 to those who have completed sixth grade are invited to attend.
