Former Teacher’s Aide Charged

RIPON, Wis. (WRPN) – The former teacher’s aide suspected of having sex with a teenager was formally charged in Fond du Lac County Court Monday.

41-year-old Stephanie Jensen of Fond du Lac faces more than a dozen charges for multiple sex crimes. During a bond hearing Friday, a cash bond of $200,000 was set. She will make her initial appearance on the charges today.

According to the criminal complaint, Jensen is accused of having sex with a teenage boy on multiple occasions. Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac where she had worked issued a statement yesterday confirming her employment had been terminated upon formal charges being filed in court.

During last Friday’s bond hearing, the court also ordered Jensen to have no contact with the victim or other minors, and not to use social media.
