The Wisconsin Science Festival is a statewide celebration of science, technology, engineering, art, and math with activities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and interests throughout Wisconsin. Events include hands-on science exhibitions, demonstrations, performances, tours, pub nights, workshops and more. The festival has grown from a few days of events in Madison to a full week of activities spanning over a hundred cities. WMDX is proud to sponsor the Wisconsin Book Festival (WBF), presented by Madison Public Library in partnership with Madison Public Library Foundation. The WBF presents free, public author events that celebrate books and spark conversations. Each year, the festival creates a robust schedule of accomplished and new writers whose fiction, nonfiction, and poetry books appeal to all ages of readers. The festival presents stand-alone events throughout the year with a culminating celebration each fall.
