92.7 WMDX Presents: “The Godfather of Green Bay” Film Screening
Did you know that our famed NiteLite host, Pete Schwaba, made a movie back in 2005? “The Godfather of Green Bay” is a hilariously touching story of stand-up comic Joe Keegan as he makes a last-ditch effort to save his career … in Green Bay of all places! As he tries to catch the eye of a Tonight Show talent scout, he must also dodge the oppressive townie who wants to steal Joe’s girlfriend and run him out of town.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, 92.7 WMDX is bringing the film back to the big screen for a special showing in Madison! Join us at Atwood Music Hall on Thursday, December 4th at 7pm for a screening of the Wisconsin-based film with an introduction and Q+A with director and lead actor, Pete Schwaba! He’ll share behind-the-scenes fun facts and answer any burning questions about what it was like making the film two decades ago.
Tickets are just $10 with one dollar of every ticket going to the Dane Country Humane Society’s pet food pantry.
