Every Madison Child Deserves Hope and a Gift this Christmas
Santa's Without Chimneys Provides Gifts to Madison's Homeless Children
(Madison)- Santa’s Without Chimneys, a Madison based non-profit has been providing hope and a Christmas gift to each of Madison’s homeless children for over a decade. Unfortunately, the need has never been greater, says organizer Chaos Riddle.
Riddle is a municipal snowplow driver in Madison. The driver’s know exactly where there are homeless families living in their cars. Riddle chose to took action, raising funds, and organizing an army of volunteers to try and fill the need. Santa’s Without Chimneys served 555 children in the Madison area last Christmas.
When I visited the Santas without Chimneys office and “toy factory” last Sunday, it was bustling with activity. Bundles of simple and inexpensive gifts to be wrapped, age appropriate and targeted towards the child’s “wish list”. Older children got gift cards to Target, younger children got toys, and all received a plush. All were also provided with mittens or gloves, socks, and a warm fleece blanket. The simple necessities of life wrapped by volunteer elves. All the gifts are finally labeled to the individual child from Santa.

The work is labor intensive, so considering volunteering to wrap gifts. Or if you are able, give a financial gift to this great organization:
