MILWAUKEE, Wis (Civic Media) — Vice President Kamala Harris is set to return to Wisconsin on Thursday, making campaign stops in Milwaukee, La Crosse, and Green Bay. This marks her sixth visit to the state since becoming the Democratic nominee.
The Harris campaign has confirmed the date and cities but has not yet released specific times or locations for the events.
In other Democratic campaign activity across Wisconsin this week, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Harris’s running mate, is scheduled to campaign in Eau Claire and Green Bay today. First Lady Jill Biden will visit Madison today as well.
Governor Tony Evers and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer are launching a three-day bus tour today. Their stops include Wausau, Stevens Point, and Green Bay, where they will join Walz. Tomorrow, the bus heads to Hudson, Eau Claire, La Crosse, Portage, and Madison, with a Wednesday stop in Mequon.
The campaign activity isn’t unmatched. It follows recent Republican efforts in the state, with former President Donald Trump holding a rally in Juneau earlier this month. In a recent Milwaukee visit, the former president said he’s trying to hold a rally before election day at the Fiserv Forum.
