Kamala Harris Rally May Impact Madison School Buses Wednesday
MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) — Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Madison Wednesday night for a rally.
The campaign is hosting a rally at the Alliant Energy Center Wednesday evening. It will include performances from musicians, including Gracie Abrams, Mumford & Sons, and members of The National.
The event is expected to start at 6 p.m., but doors open at 3.
Just last week, the Coliseum hosted former President Barack Obama and Governor Tim Walz. That rally led to traffic congestion in the parking lot, spilling out to Rimrock Road.
Staff from the Madison Metropolitan School District said this traffic may impact kids getting home on the bus. They encourage families to check the FirstView app.
This will be the 12th visit to Wisconsin from the Vice President this year.
