How You Can Vote on New Designs for MMSD High School Mascots

MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – Madison’s high school mascots are getting an upgrade. 

Officials from the Madison Metropolitan School District want the logos to match the new renovated schools. They’re not changing the actual mascots, just the designs. East will still be the Purgolders, La Follette the Lancers, Memorial the Spartans, and West the Regents. 

The district has three proposed new designs for each high school. They put out a survey allowing people to give their feedback on the options, and choose their favorite.

Ultimately, using that feedback, district officials and staff will have the final say on the new logos.
