Passenger Attacks Bus Driver, Bus Crashes Into Madison Restaurant

MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – A passenger attacked a Madison bus driver last night, causing the driver to lose control and crash into a restaurant. 

Madison Police say it happened on Milwaukee Street, near Stoughton Road. They say a woman went after the driver, and that driver crashed into Asian House, right near Woodman’s. They say the woman then ran off. 

Two people were hurt, and firefighters had to get them out of the bus. They’re expected to be okay. 

Authorities are now searching for the woman responsible.
