It’s been a remarkable season for the Brewers, and it isn’t over yet. Now, we’ve found another reason for you to cheer — and it has nothing to do with the action on the field. A new study from The Action Network shows the team is knocking it out of the park by offering the third-best hot dogs out of all 30 teams! Yay, us!

Listen to this story here:

The rankings are based on affordability, fan satisfaction, popularity, consumption and of course, simply relishing a whole lot of mustard on the ballpark favorite. This study is known, officially, as the MLB Hot Dog Index 2025. It takes a data-driven look at all the Major League Baseball teams and how each one scores in the hot dog game. The final is close to 60 out of 100 for the Brewers. This earns American Family Field a spot among the elite wiener winners. loanDepot park, home of the Miami Marlins, lands in last place with a score of five out of 100.

Fans at American Family Field can grab a dog for just $4.11 — one of the most affordable prices in the league. Combine it with Milwaukee’s high purchasing power index, and it’s easy to see why the Affordability Score lands at 60.80. For comparison, the highest price is found at a Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, where the Rangers charge close to $8.00 for a hot dog.

But it’s not just about price.

If you dig into a dog to understand the research, it shows fans clearly savor the experience and give high marks in online chatter. One example is Google, where close to 80% of the reviews are positive. It all adds up to a Fan Satisfaction Score of 61.09.

And when it comes to sheer numbers, demand is strong. Baseball fans visiting the field are biting into an estimated 8,385 hot dogs at every home Brewers game. It’s proof this is no silly side dish, but a true ballpark tradition.  You can learn more about Milwaukee’s official hot dog partner Vienna Beef here.

And while this study focuses on the classic stadium dog, you can also find a few fresh takes at specialty concession stands, too:

  • The Dog of the North (topped with apple kraut, yellow mustard, secret stadium sauce, jalapeno mayo, chopped bacon and Bavarian sprinkles)
  • The Dog Gone Fowl (topped with a chicken finger, American cheese, ranch, secret stadium sauce, tater tots and chives)
  • The Chili Cheese Dog (topped with beanless beef chili, cheddar cheese, sour cream, white onions and chives).

So, whether it’s the crack of the bat or the snap of a hot dog bringing you out to the ballpark (or both!), American Family Field is serving up an all-around, all-star experience.
