The SkillsUSA Regional Competition was held at UW-Platteville on January 30th.
Eight River Valley students competed in the following events:
Brenden James, Austin Carstensen, Cole Camacho – Welding Sculpture (High School Division)
Charlie Ford – Welding Sculpture (Middle School Division)
Linnea Jacobson, Hudson Hauden – 3D Printing
Kallan Jacobson – Job Interview
Lucas Palmer – Welding
Lucas Palmer and Charlie Ford placed first in their Welding divisions, Linnea Jacobson placed 2nd in 3D Printing, and Kallan Jacobson placed 2nd in Job Interview.
Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
