John and Gordy start with weather woes and a Chula Vista getaway giveaway. They riff on Tesla’s wild diner-vehicle charging stations with massive LED screens, pondering Elon Musk’s future tech moves. The podcast shifts to a serious note with Jim Santelle discussing the Supreme Court’s shadow docket, which has given Trump wins on shrinking government and firing watchdogs. They bemoan the erosion of checks and balances and the court’s rightward tilt. Abby Abramovich from Doundrins Distilling joins for a lively segment on their family-friendly distillery, complete with a wrestling event and cocktail garden!
