Madison rallies, inspired by civil rights-era speeches, dominated the Capitol with calls for change. Former mayor Paul Soglin teases his lengthy memoir, while discussions around inflation, layoffs, and the political climate ensue. Producer Dom faints from dehydration during a Cage The Elephant, stirring up concern and humor. Meanwhile, claims of dark money fueling protests emerge, with George Soros blamed as usual. Amidst these, a puppy’s heart surgery tugs at local heartstrings. All this, plus gripes about turning point USA in schools and the rollercoaster ride of EV ownership, make for a spirited episode.
